He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gunsallus and Esther Gunsallus (Brandt); and his siblings, Orvis and Avis Wood. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Gunsallus of McIntire; his children, James "Jimmy" Gunsallus (Que) of Tacoma, WA, Sheryl Adams (Tim) of Stacyville, IA and Brian (Rachel) of LeRoy, MN; his sister Marlys Starry (Robert); and his sister-in-law Mildred Barnes (Leo). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
