He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Clinton (Baars) and Vernon Clinton of Littleport, Iowa.; his brothers, Sheldon Clinton (BJ) and Nyal Clinton; his brother-in-law Harlan Meyer; and his uncle Delbert Baars.
He is survived by: his wife Marguerite Clinton (Hermsen) of McGregor; his sons, David Clinton (Kim) of Bickleton and Gary Clinton (Sherri) of Yelm, Washington; his stepchildren, Jon Engelhardt of Madison, Rita Nosek (Eric) of Cedar Rapids and Rob Engelhardt of Tomah Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Katelynn Clinton, Peter Clinton (Cigne), Bryan Earick, Nick Earick, Kris Rickels, Devin Engelhardt and Meghan Rickels; his great grandchild Miller Clinton; and his siblings, Shirley Meyer, Dennis Clinton (Rhonda) and Devere Clinton (Ellen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
