He was predeceased by: his brother Paul T. Caruso, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Caruso; his children, Kristine A. Caruso, Tracy Noland (Mark) and Bernard Evans; his granddaughters, Amber Hughson and Katelyn Hughson; his brother Anthony Caruso (Peggy); and his goddaughters, Samantha Mitchell, Tammy Mitchell and Lisa Dye.
In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions may be made to the Diabetes Foundation or to the American Lung Association.
