She is survived by: her former husband Orville Vallem; her daughter Susan Marie; her spouse Joris Severtson; her daughter Susan Cook of Ankeny, IA; her stepchildren, Susan Bauman (Denny) of Lewistown, MT and Wayne Severtson (Nancy) of Marion, IA; her grandchildren, Michelle Arteberry (David) of Leawood, KS and Jamie Porter (Bill) of Pleasant Hill, IA; and her great grandchildren, Ava Porter, Jacob Porter, Samuel Arteberry and Noah Arteberry. She is also survived by her daughter, granddaughters and grandchildren.
