With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Joe Hegland of McCallsburg, Iowa, born in Marshalltown, Iowa, who passed away on October 10, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherrill Orvis and Rachel Glenn Hegland. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Jean Faidley of McCallsburg; his children, Justin Hegland of Story City and Becky Hegland of Milwaukee, WI; his sister Cindy Anderson (Scott) of McCallsburg; and his siblings-in-law, Bruce Faidley and Linda Faidley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
