Leslie Leroy Cushion Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leslie Leroy Cushion (Maynard, Iowa), who passed away on April 18, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vier Thompson and Ollie Cushion (Northrop); his wife Clare Audrey Cummings; and his brothers, Ivan Cushion and Howard Cushion.
He is survived by: his brother Scrap Yard; his former wife Jennie Witte; his children, Connie Dahlin (Mark) of La Crescent, Linda Alderson (Jeff) of Wadena, Les Cushion (Deb) of Fayette and Patti Cushion of Maynard; and his close friend Joanne Whyte of Racine, Wisconsin.. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will have a private service at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Maynard.
Memorials may be directed in his name to the Lundbye-Carpenter American Legion Post #245 of Maynard or the Maynard Fire Department.
