It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jennie Lou Cushion of Maynard, Iowa, born in Oelwein, Iowa, who passed away on November 24, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred C. Witte and Belle Witte (Miller); and her siblings, Fred, Omar, Thomas Witte, Marcella Witte and Donna Paul.
She is survived by: her former spouse Leslie Leroy Cushion; her children, Connie Dahlin (Mark) of Dakota, Linda Alderson (Jeff) of Wadena, Les Cushion (Deb) of Fayette and Patti Cushion of Maynard; her sister Dixie Ehlers of Oelwein; her sister-in-law Judy Witte of Oelwein; and her pet Morgan. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings and the recent surge in the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing will be required. Those in attendance are required to wear a mask at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed in her name to the Maynard Fire Department.
