Elaine Wedemeier Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Knoploh and Lydia Knoploh (Sell); her husband Duane W. Wedemeier; her siblings, Marvin Knoploh, Lloyd Knoploh, Henry Knoploh (Virginia) and Dorothy Brickman (Raymond); and her nephews, Ron, Jeff and Mitch.

She is survived by: her children, Gary Wedemeier (Becky) of Westgate, Kevin Wedemeier (Kenda) of Westgate, Vickie Bushkofsky (James) of Sheffield, Karla Suckow (Doug) of Fredericksburg and Kristie Lockard (Paul) of Maynard; her grandchildren, Dawn Guritz (Jason), Jeni Kamoss (Cory), Chad Bushkofsky (Tracie), Scott Wedemeier (Catherine), Travis Suckow (Jeannie), Amber Suckow, Amy Swanson (Jeremy), Wendy Miller (Clayton), Rachel Grimm (Jamie), Neil Suckow (Jena), Jeremy Lockard (Kayla), Abby Danner (Matt), Darin Lockard (Kendra) and Tyler Wedemeier (Samantha); her siblings, Eldon Knoploh (Jean) of Oelwein and Velda Hagenow (James) of Waverly; and her sisters-in-law, Verlaine Knoploh of Sumner and Bev Knoploh of Faribault, Minnesota. She is also survived by 36 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Saint Peters Lutheran Church (280 Main St, Westgate, IA 50681). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Peter Lutheran Church (280 Main St, Westgate, IA 50681).

Elaine was a charter member of the West Central Foundation Trust Board.
