He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jess, Retha Richards, John "Jack" and Leota Kane; his parents-in-law, Jane and Donald Palmer; and his uncles, James Richards and David Richards.
He is survived by: his parents, Harvey Richards and Susan Richards (Kane) of Westgate; his wife Tammy Richards of Maynard; his children, Dustin Richards of Westgate, Denver Richards of Arlington and Devin Richards of Maynard; his siblings, Catherine Anderson (Jeremy) of Plainfield and John Richards of Mason City; and his brothers-in-law, Tim Palmer (Sheena) of Oelwein and Nick Palmer (Nycole) of Oelwein. He is also survived by several aunts; uncles; nieces and nephews.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing will be required.
Memorials may be directed in his name to his family.
