It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Milligan (Maxwell, Iowa), born in Collins, Iowa, who passed away on December 20, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Milligan and Hazel Milligan (Vasey); and his wife Eva Elizabeth Lowe Thielen. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Pat Smith (Gordon) of Maxwell and Larry Thielen (Kathy) of Fayetteville, AR; his sister Carol Beal (John) of Maxwell; and his grandsons, Lanny Smith, Bryce Smith (Teresa) and Nick Thielen. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; two nieces; one nephew; one great-niece and one great nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Maxwell Historical Society.
