She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Amos Patterson and Anna Leona Patterson (Ferguson); her husband Dudley Swalwell; her brother DeLane "Pete" Patterson; her daughter Cheryl Page; and her son-in-law Jack Page.
She is survived by: her daughter Georgia Carver (Ben) of Ames; her grandchildren, David Page (Ronda) of Maxwell, Marcy Cheville (Doug) of Maxwell, Doug Page (Lornah) of Las Vegas, Brian Carver (Beth) of Denver, Mark, Angel Andrian and Arlene; and her great grandchildren, Austin Page, Lucas Page, Lindsey Page (Ryan), Jack Cheville and Gracie Cheville.
She lived through 18 presidents, 17 wars, two worldwide pandemics: Polio and COVID, a farming crisis in the 80's and saw the Harlem Globetrotters play in the Maxwell gym.
