She was predeceased by: her parents, Arie Huisman and Alice Huisman (Booy); her husband Herman Van Donge; her brother Duane Huisman; and her parents-in-law, Florence Hooyer (Albert), Rich Van Donge (Ida), John Dibbet and Elmer Reitveld.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Van Donge of Sioux Center, Allison Floen (Tim) of Maurice, IA, David Van Donge of Hospers, IA, Phil Van Donge (Marissa Hegeman) of Hull, IA, Paul Van Donge (Darnell Broesder) of Boyden, IA and John Van Donge (Melanie Benjamins) of St. Catherines Ontario, Canada; her siblings, Eleanor Reitveld of Pella, IA, Joyce Huisman of Des Moines, IA, Carol Beyer (Arlo) of New Sharon, IA, Norman Huisman (Janel) of Grinnell, IA and Ron Huisman (Donna) of Otley, IA; and her sisters-in-law, Carol Huisman and Henrietta "Girlie" Dibbet of Sioux Center, IA. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
The Van Donge Family prefer memorials be directed to Sioux Center Christian Schools.
