He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter William and Grace E. McCurdy (Brown); his wife June McCurdy; his grandson Adam McCurdy; his son-in-law Bruce Bierbaum; and his siblings, Cecil, Leo McCurdy, Mable Schrier, Edna Pearson, Wilma Gary and Elanore Craak.
He is survived by: his children, Katherine, Joel McCurdy (Sharie) of Massena, Kathy Pierce (Mick) of Elk Horn, Barbara Angell (Jim) of Atlantic, Donna Bierbaum of Walnut, Mark McCurdy of Ankeny and Brenda Mueggenberg (Tim) of Conn Rapids, Minnesota; and his siblings, Calvin McCurdy of Massena and Marjorie Adair of Moberly, Missouri. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the Walter McCurdy memorial fund to be established by the family at a later date.
