He was predeceased by: his parents, G. Leon Buckner and Margaret Ann Buckner (Knorr); his siblings, Howard Max Buckner and Beth Ann Barlow; and his father-in-law Merritt Lewis.
He is survived by: his son Shane Donavon of Greenfield; his wife Ardith Buckner of Greenfield; his children, Wendi Buckner of Marquand, MO and Trent Buckner of Woodbine; his grandchildren, Austin Buckner, Mikel Spainhower, Amber Spainhower and Taren Buckner; his siblings, Larry Buckner (Wanda) of Adair, Cecil Buckner (Linda) of Des Moines, Bob Buckner (Gloria) of South English, Scott Buckner (Linda) of North English, Cindy Chafa (Mike) of Stuart and Patty Ingle (Brenda) of Runnells, IA; and his mother-in-law Doris Lewis of Greenfield. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
