He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Nelson and Myrtle McIntosh Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Cullen; his daughters, Kathryn, Stephanie of Massena and Susan Miller of Bridgewater; his sister Ruth Roberts of Norwalk; his nieces, Anita Westlake (Doug) of Indianola and Joan Koch (Kendall) of Van Meter; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Aubrey, Katie, Joe Westlake, Leo and Levi Koch.
