He was predeceased by: his parents, George William and Velma Marie Hosfelt (DeVore); his parents-in-law, Charles and Helen Devine (Cullen); and his sister-in-law Marian Devine.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hosfelt of Massena; his children, Brenda Hosfelt of LaVista, Neb, Michael Hosfelt (Mary) of Massena, Christina Carothers (Alan) of Lincoln, Neb and William Hosfelt (Angela) of Massena; his sister-in-law Donna Martin (Ron) of Greenfield; his grandchildren, Catherine Miles (Gabe), Sarah Shenefelt (Colton), Mallory Carothers, Will Erickson (Tara), Spenser Erickson (Anna), Alicia Hosfelt, Keagan Hosfelt (Stephanie), Nate Hosfelt, Nicholas Williams and Shawna Williams; and his great grandchildren, Kaleb, Kameron Erickson and Charlotte Miles.
Memorials: Memorials may be directed the Gene Hosfelt memorial fund to be established by the family at a later date.
