He is survived by: his children, Byron (Miranda), Gary (Beth), Steve (Angie) and Kristi (Robert); his grandchildren, Lea Dinkla, Kyle Dinkla (Danielle), Paige Beem, Logan Dinkla, Lindsey Vacek (Remington), Colby Kratch (Taylor), Nate Kratch (Nikki), Mackenzie Kratch, Lauren Dinkla and Cameron Dinkla; and his great grandchildren, Destiny Dinkla, Kevin Dinkla, Jacoby Dinkla, Jayce Dinkla, Bradley Dinkla, Lettie Beem, Fletcher Vacek, Coco Kratch and Dash Kratch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lamb Funeral Home - Massena (205 5th St, Massena, IA 50853). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 10:30 AM. A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at the Massena Center Cemetery.
