With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Betty Chapman of Massena, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Kautz and Leona Kautz (Coleman); her husband Clyde Henry Chapman; her sons-in-law, Jim Stakey and Paul Lydon; her great grandchild Faith Stakey; and her sisters, Inez McKee (Bill) and Jeanie Bozwell (Earl).
She is survived by: her daughters, Phyllis Stakey of Massena, Pat Lydon of Red Oak and Pam Austin (Tim) of Liberty, Missouri; her grandchildren, Mike Stakey (Marcie), Molly Crom (Jeff), Adam Stakey (Teresa), Cris Jacobson (Larry), Joe Lydon (Jen), Nic Lydon, Kate Lydon, Dan Lydon, Alison Austin (Jason) and Erin Austin (John); and her great grandchildren, Brett Stakey (Paige), Ellie, Lily Crom, Olivia, Whitney, James Stakey, Tuan Jacobson, Adelia and Seth Lydon. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends, and many loyal granddogs.
Memorials: May be directed to the Betty Chapman Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.
