She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Fortado and Helen Fortado (Smith); her husband Charles Ankrom; her daughter Sue Ankrom; and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Ankrom and Helen Crandall.

She is survived by: her children, Rod Ankrom (Michelle) of Rhinelander, Mike Ankrom of Fulton and Michele Harris (Jeff) of Manchester; her grandchildren, Caleb Ankrom (Megan), Jonathan Ankrom, Joel Ankrom, Jennifer Nelson (Matthew), Nathan Ankrom, Jarod Harris and Victoria Harris; her great grandchildren, Noah, Ellison, Sophia and Elaina; her sisters, Janet Konrad of Jacksonville, Illinois and Betty Kuhlman of Jacksonville, Illinois; and her sister-in-law Betty Jackson (Gary) of Manchester. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
