He was predeceased by: his sister Erica; his grandparents, Joy Solum, Ron and Linda Rippentrop; and his pets, Tucker and Brody.
He is survived by: his parents, Danny Solum and Shelley Huebner; his grandparents, Sadie Ginther and Carl Solum; his brothers, Christopher Huebner (Abigail), Jamie Huebner (Paige), Eric Dittberner, Travis Gordon (Paige) and Nicholas Solum; his nieces and nephews, Maylee, Aurora, Hattie, Louie and Liam; and also, Heidi Rippentrop, Greg Rippentrop, Rocky Adams, Kris Adams, Carla Sampson (Mark), Sherrie Solum, Bill Solum, Carol Wine (Greg), Mark Solum (Edna) and Mitch Hoy (Mona). He is also survived by his brothers and loved being an uncle, spending time with his nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline in Zach's name to help prevent more unnecessary deaths and to end the stigma around mental illness.
