He was predeceased by: his parents, Olaf Elliott and Esther Elliott (Boyd); his wife Paulette "Polly" Hall; and his sisters, Darlene True (Darwin), Marilyn Hinders (Fred) and Donna Bobst (Maurice).
He is survived by: his children, Steve (Jan McDonald) and Sara Romanik (Mark) of Winston Salem, NC; and his grandchildren, Lucy, Tom, Luke and Sam Romanik. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
