He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vernon Kiewiet and Daisy Kiewiet (Abbott); his wife Sharon; his children, Justin Kiewiet, Gretchen Wynia (Jody) and Nate Kiewiet (Maggie); his grandchildren, Mason Kiewiet, Blake, Makenna Wynia, Grace, Evelyn, Clara and Will Kiewiet; his siblings, Carolyn Ruggles, Carlyle (Mary Lee) and Betty Sifuentes; and his parents-in-law, Jo Jeitz (Bob), Jan Barraza (Joe), Nancy Schuring, John Lehecka (Debbie), Jill Aadland (Jack), Mary Nelson (Dave) and Pat Lehecka.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a funeral Mass will be held at a future date at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manly.
