He is survived by: his wife Ellen of Mason City; his children, Matthew Hanson (Nadja) of Ames, IA, Mark Hanson of King George, VA and Courtney Rathbone (Greg) of Mason City; his uncle Jay Hanson (Phyllis) of Buffalo, NY; his siblings, Kathy Willover (Robert) of Allegany, NY, Terry Dusch (Jackie) of Bradford, PA, Robert Dusch (Peg) of Dallas, NC and Joanne Hedlund (Richard) of Bradford, PA; and his grandchildren, Carsten, Christina, Caleb, Mikayla, Kiersten, Brinley, Chanel and Cameron.
