He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Maxine Copas (Johnson) and Clifton Copas-Baxter; and his siblings, Louetta Best, Tim and Tom Copas.
He is survived by: his children, Heather, Adrian and Samantha Copas; his grandchildren, Zoe, Rylee, Brooklyn, Breven, Ryden, Grayson and Charlotte; his former wife JoAnn Copas; his mother-in-law Karen Symonds; and his siblings, Edward Copas (Kolene), Diana Allen, Douglas Copas (Jo), Altha Garfin (Andy), Greg Copas (Deb), Phillip Copas and Monica VerHelst (Don). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
