She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Lee and Grace Lee; her husband Preceding; her brother Jerry; and her former husband Marvin Tibbets.
She is survived by: her sons, Jay C and Joseph; her daughter-in-law Karen of Johnston; her daughter Deb; her children-in-law, Tom (Joe) of Schaumburg and Kim of Dike, Iowa.; and her grandchildren, Katie Seda (Dan), Eric Hutchison (Katherine), Adam Hutchison (Emily), Joe Surdam, Jon Surdam, Jenny Dreyer (Jordan) and Jake Hutchison (Andrea). She is also survived by her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law as well as many nieces and nephews.
Should friends desire, memorials may be given in Verlynn's honor to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
