He is survived by: his pets, Bud, Mollie "Mama" and Whaler; his child Shelly Paulsen (Matt); his grandsons, Matthew, Michael and Mitchell; his daughter Dawn Johnson; his grandchildren, Casey and Luke; his son Arthur Westendorf (Sharon); his grandchildren, Austin, Jordan, David Susa, Jr. and Mandy Vilches; his daughter Heather Conti; his grandchildren, Angelina and Nicholas; and his siblings, Virgil Westendorf (Hedy) and Barbara Gordon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
