She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Werstein and Mildred Werstein (Denny); her son-in-law Steve Abendroth; and her siblings, Roger, Richard and Donna Mullen.

She is survived by: her significant other Roger Gabel; her children, Tina Abendroth, Michele Borchardt (Todd) and Adam Gabel; her grandchildren, Dillon and Danielle; her great grandchild Adalyn; her siblings, Darlene Bryant and Ronnie Werstein (Faye); and her nieces, Barb Schaefer and Theresa.
