He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Dale Eagen and Magdalene Sumner Eagen of Exira, IA; his son Michael Lewis Eagen; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Larson and Mary Eagen.

He is survived by: his friends, Chuck, Louie Minerman and Terry; his wife Lana of Mason City; his children, Todd Eagen (Valerie) of Cedar Falls, IA, Kyle Eagen (Beth) of Westminster, CO and Lisa Eagen (Amy) of Marietta, GA; his grandchildren, Allison, Caroline, Miles and Norah; and his siblings, Camelia Lahart (Mike) of Peoria, IL and Tom Eagen (Cara) of Fleming Island, FL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, granddogs.
