He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Thompson and Theda Thompson; his wife Lacreatia; and his siblings, LaFaun Handy and Michael Edwards.
He is survived by: his siblings, Stanley Thompson (Leah), Sheri Thompson (Renee), Brenda Monk, Scott Thompson (Anita), Marc Thompson (Sandra), Rita Handy, Paulette Handy, Marcia Meadowbrook, Marquise Thompson, Charles Thompson Jr. and Athena Thompson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the MN Verteran's Home.
