He was predeceased by: his father George Pappajohn. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Pappajohn; his daughter Krisann Pappajohn (late Maximo Munzi); his grandchildren, Chiara Munzi, Lorenzo Munzi and Cosima Munzi; his children, Melinda Paraie (Michael) and Paul Pappajohn (Bob Rademacher); his brothers, John Pappajohn (Mary) and Aristotle Pappajohn (Barbara); and his brothers-in-law, John Patrou (Jan), Theodore Patrou (Beverly) and Harry Patrou. He is also survived by six nieces and five nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Charles H. MacNider Art Museum, MercyOne North Iowa Hospice, and the Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church in Mason City.
