She was predeceased by: her husband Merrill Hanson; her son Marshall Hanson; and her parents, Louis Dippel and Emma Dippel. She is survived by: her son Randy Hanson (Patty); her brother Kennith Dippel (Ione) of Austin, MN; her niece Lori Titus (Troy); and her great-nephews, Tyler and Colin of Owatonna, MN.. She is also survived by her husband, sons and many of her son's friends.

Memorials may be directed to the family of Shirley Hanson.
