He was predeceased by: his parents, Neal McDaid and Rose McDaid (McLaughlin); his wife Marilyn McDaid; his daughter Eileen McDaid; and his siblings, Rosin McDaid, Catherine Snyder and Patrick McDaid.
He is survived by: his children, Shaun J. McDaid (Kellie), Mary Harris (Charles), Rose Kolodynski (Ed), Collette McDaid (Mark Determan) and Brian McDaid; his sister Carmel Barney; his sister-in-law Helen McDaid; his sons-in-law, Randy Klang, Jack Swenson and Steve Bieber; his grandchildren, Shaun M., Amanda (Seth), Matthew McDaid, Colin Klang (Jessica), Kathleen Duffy (Sean), Jamie Malek (Greg), Jillian Harris (Scott Woodword), Kaycee Kruger (Ryan), Andrew Swenson, Olivia Swenson (Zach), Chayse Swenson, Dustin Bieber, Drew Bieber (Megan) and Brittany Bieber; and his great grandchildren, Gannon, Lewis, Forest, Oliver, Ethan, Kellar, Sophie, Charlie, Brynlyn, Gavin, Leo, Max, Ava, Zoe, Savannah, Dylan, Brady, Harper, Audrianna, Keagan, Landyn and Brooklyn.
