It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sally Marie Gardner of Mason City, Iowa, born in Independence, Iowa, who passed away on October 9, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Sickels and Nina Belle Sickels (Potter); her husband Miles Hunter Gardner; her granddaughter Brittany Gardner; and her siblings, Grant Baldwin, Gen Washburn, Ruth Baldwin and Marcella DeNevers.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Graf (Darrell Hackbarth) of Mason City, Miles Jr. Gardner (Barbara King) of Keokuk and Mary Gardner (Melanie Hausmaninger) of Mason City; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Stephenson of Alexandria, Virginia..
Memorials may be directed in her name to Fontana Park, Hazleton, Iowa.
