With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth J. Rekow (Mason City, Iowa), born in Kensett, Iowa, who passed away on April 10, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her former husband Wayne Folsom; her parents, Otto Rekow and Rose Rekow; her siblings, Herman Rekow, Eldo Rekow, Ray Rekow, Elfriede Rekow Jordan and Bertha Rekow Lancial; and her half-brother Roy. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews, extended family members and many friends.
In 1957 Ruth applied for a position at the American Cancer Society.
