He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lester Hendershot and Esther Hendershot (Schuchardt); his wife Marilyn Hawe; his children, Donna Zelazoski (Bill) of Green Bay, WI, Linda Field and Glen Hendershot (Susan) of Mason City, IA; his daughter-in-law LouAnn Hendershot of Oshkosh, WI; his grandchildren, Nathan (Lisa), Anne (Francys), Rebecca, Rachelle, Robin, Corrie (Bob), Angie (Ryan), Dawn (Aaron), Zack and Luke; his brother Darryl Hendershot of Thousand Palms, CA; his sister-in-law Toni Hendershot of Great Falls, MT; his close friend Glea Brunner; his children, Barry and Joy; and his siblings, Dale, Leslie, Wayne and Doris. He was also cherished by 16 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family suggests memorials be directed to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or MercyOne North Iowa Hospice Inpatient Unit.
