It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger D. Gabel of Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on December 22, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Gabel and Elsie Gabel; his wife Theresa Werstein; and his son-in-law Steve Abendroth. He is survived by: his children, Theresa, Tina Abendroth, Michele Borchardt (Todd) and Adam Gabel; his grandchildren, Danielle and Dillon; his great grandchild Adalyn; and his siblings, Clark (Geri), Richard, Alvin, Joyce Allen (Don) and Darlene Johnson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
