He is survived by: his children, Jill Welter (Charles Huff), Jeff Welter (Jessica) of Chantilly, VA, Joel Welter of Round Hill, VA, Kim Bahnsen (John) of Charles City, IA and Kelcie Santiago (Guy) of Springfield, OR; his sister Dorothy Skitch of Lakewood, CA; and his sister-in-law Leona Welter of Corwith, IA..
