He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Asbe and Ida Asbe (Eliason); his son Michael Asbe; and his siblings, Luella Shoop, Iona Manuel, Doris Kueck, Gladys Asbe, Norma Jean Sweat and Donald Asbe.
He is survived by: his former wife Janet Potter; his nephew Ken Asbe; his daughter Diane Weber; his sister Esther Peterson; his grandchildren, Brooke and David Weber; and his daughter-in-law Debby Asbe. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was looking forward to going on an Honor Flight to Washington DC last May with his nephew, Ken Asbe, but it was cancelled due to COVID restrictions.
The family suggests memorial contributions be given to the Humane Society of North Iowa.
