He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Everding and Bea Everding; and his son Mark Everding. He is survived by: his wife Linda Lunstrum; his children, Jeanette (Mark Wagner), Rod Everding and Nancy Hugo (Steve); his grandchildren, Bobbie, Tyler Janssen, Zane, Allison, Charlie and Mariah Hugo; his great grandchildren, Hudson, Lucy, Sydney, Ike and Willa; and his siblings, Rosemary Mohnk (Richard), Ramona Maxfield (Jack) and Rob Everding (Mary).

Memorials may be directed towards the family of Richard Everding.
