He is survived by: his wife Zola Borchardt of Mason City, Iowa; his children, Jean Gallogly (Jeff) of Vincent, Iowa and Dennis Borchardt (Denine) of Plymouth, Iowa; his grandchildren, Heather Armstead, Josh Borchardt (Holly), Rachel Borchardt and Andrew Borchardt; his great grandchildren, Ravyn, Devin, Jaden Armstead, Dillon and Mattie Borchardt; his sister Irene Ward of Mason City, Iowa; and his sisters-in-law, Hazel Nordyke of Eldora and Darla Barrett of Peoria, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
