He was predeceased by: his parents, Timio Chavez and Serafine Chavez (Barragan); and his son Adam Chavez. He is survived by: his daughter Mikayla Chavez-Wilson (Taylor); his grandsons, Asher and Sage; and his siblings, Andrew Chavez (Kathy) and Phyllis Maskarina (Duane Dillavou).
