Paul R. Pirkl Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 5, 2020, at the age of 84, Paul R. Pirkl of Mason City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mark Pirkl and Dorothy Pirkl (Connelly); his wife Shirley; his sons, Mark (Rhonda), Stephen and Jeffrey Pirkl; his grandchildren, Emily Pirkl, Taylor Pirkl and Courtney Pirkl; his sister Patricia Goebel; his parents-in-law, Otto and Gladys Meier; and his brother-in-law Francis Meier. He was also cherished by extended family and many friends.

Paul also served as the Newman Foundation president and on the Newman Foundation finance council.
