He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Riles and Hazel Riles (Yeadon); his son Dano; and his siblings, Tom, Donald Riles and Mary Lou.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Larson of Mason City; his sons, Nick Riles of Austin and Denny Riles of Hudson Wisconsin; his stepdaughter Lindy Ward of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and his siblings, Colleen, Betty and Tim.
