Norma Jean Gobeli Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Jean Gobeli of Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on January 3, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hollatz and Lillie Hollatz (Knop); her sister Darlene Jacot (Robert); her brothers-in-law, Allan (Jeanyce), Leonard, David and Donald Gobeli; and her parents-in-law, Lester and Avis Gobeli.
She is survived by: her husband Daryl Gobeli of Mason City; her cousin David Heide (Michael Crull) of St. Paul, MN; her children, Denise Swatsenbarg (Richard) of Council Bluffs, IA, Jon Gobeli (Laura) of Mason City, IA, Brent Gobeli (Cindy) of Plymouth, IA and Troy Gobeli (Brandi) of Mason City; and her grandchildren, Donna, Justin Swatsenbarg, Abby Crosby, Danielle Thomas, Shannon Jindra, Brandon, Josh, David, Jackson, Gracelynn, Jazmine Gobeli, Elizabeth Fedeler, Ryan, Shelby Gobeli, Cree, Cheyanne, Caleb and Carly Gobeli. She is also survived by twenty five great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Masks and social distancing will be mandated for all that attend.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the St. John's Cemetery Association or Grace United Methodist Church.
