He was predeceased by: his close friend Matt Bohl; his grandparents, Genevieve Olson, Merrill and Mary Button; his uncle Kent Olson; and his cousin Jena Mills.
He is survived by: his parents, Kevin Olson and Nancy Olson (Button); his sister Nicole Olson; his niece Leah Olson; his nephew Nolen Ward; his caregiver Chris Ertz; and his pets, Smokey and Skylar.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. James Lutheran Church (1148 4th St SE, Mason City, IA 50401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, family members kindly suggest that memorials be directed to the family.
