She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Chamberlin and Blanche Chamberlin (Buckingham). She is survived by: her husband Alvin Gabel (Al); her sisters, Mary Jo Kurten-Hults (Wayne) and Karen Landry (Ed); her stepchildren, David, Sarah and Zachary; her grandchildren, Xavier, Bowen and Gabriel; and her great grandchild Mason. She is also survived by stepchildren, grandchildren, and sisters.

Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church for the "Trinity Planned Giving Fund" or First United Methodist Church.
