She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Anderson and Agnes Anderson (Johnson) of Lake Norden; her husband Alwood Hanson; her son Marlin Hanson; her parents-in-law, Herman and Nora Hanson; and her siblings, Virgil, Ruby, Glen "Bud" and Eldon.
She is survived by: her children, Rodney Hanson of Humboldt, IA, Cynthia Hanson of Mason City, IA, Kevin Hanson (Sandy) of Buffalo, MN and Tim Hanson (Mindy) of Mason City, IA; and her grandchildren, Josh Hanson, Nicole Schueler (Joey), Spencer Hanson (Jaque) and Nora Lynn Mavis Hanson.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
