She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Willand and Clara Willand (Calgaard); her husband Ray; her siblings, Mildred Sorbo, Esther Bodde, Opal Solomonson, Walter, Stanley (Bud), Clarence and Orin Willand; and her son-in-law Thomas Als.
She is survived by: her significant other Raymond H. Tapps of Britt Iowa; her daughters, Linda Als (Thomas) of Mason City and Marilyn Harrod (Grant) of Des Moines; and her grandchildren, Lori Meyering (Phil), Scott Als (Molly Bing), Matthew Brandt (Annie) and Brian Brandt (Katy). She is also survived by six great grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.
