He was predeceased by: his parents, Riecka Weiss (Beer) and Jacob Weiss; and his sister Jane (Gary Ginapp). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Weiss (DeSmet); his daughter Crystal Olson (Aaron); his grandchildren, Layton and Lenna; his son Matthew Weiss (Kelsey); his granddaughters, Lily and Willow; his stepdaughter Megan Hill (Evan Ware); his grandson Harrison; his stepson Kevin Hill (Amanda); his grandsons, Lincoln and Oliver; his sisters, Mary Gee, Josie Kasprzak (Jerry), Margaret Gross (Ken) and Christine Hunt (Dennis); and his niece Laura Gross. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made in memory of Mitch Weiss to Mayo Clinic. Donations will be contributed to the Poverello Fund for assisting patients in financing their medical care.
