He was predeceased by: his parents, David Leonard and Janice Ann Snook (Willemsen); his sons, David "Dave" Snook and Dustin "Dut" Wilson; and the parents of child, David and Janice Snook.

He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Snook of Mason City and Jason Wilson of Charles City; his grandchildren, Kaylin Patten, Dustin Kenyon, Davin Wilson and Dixie Wilson; his sister Kim Ellman; and his pets, Misty and Tucker. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
